Campaign | Make a Gift | Priorities | Newsletter | Events and Exhibitions | Advisory Council THE SOCIETY AND ITS PURPOSE For over 70 years, the Friends of the Libraries have been dedicated to enhancing and stimulating support for one of Baltimore’s greatest resources, the Johns Hopkins University Libraries. Encompassing the Milton S. Eisenhower Library, and it’s collections at the Albert D. Hutzler Reading Room, the George Peabody Library and the John Work Garrett Library at Evergreen, the Libraries comprise the strongest collection in the city and are among the nation’s leading research facilities. In 1998, the Libraries were collectively named the Sheridan Libraries to honor the vision and generosity of R. Champlin and Debbie Sheridan. 1931 EX LIBRIS Charter Members |
